"In every loving woman there is a priestess of the past - a pious guardian of some affection, of which the object has disappeared."
— Henri Frederic Amiel

One of the recent pieces of art I am proud of creating is the work titled “The Priestess”. This work challenged me in so many ways. This was the first time I created the look of metal work without the use of gold paint.

I like this piece so much and the technique of the gold I am working on a large piece I am hoping to share later this year.

“The Priestess” is an original ink/acrylic painting by Tiffany Rankin.
My love of myth and history inspired this art piece. She is the head priestess of a forgotten religion.
